Doctor Who
I'm finally getting around to continuing with old DW while replaying Dragon Age. I am in season nine, on The Sea Devils. I've grown a bit tired of UNIT and the 'modern' Earth based serials. The 3rd Doctor is okay, but I more so find myself really enjoying the 1st Master. I really enjoyed how he was the "big bad" of season 8.
The serials still seem far too stretched out (like a Bendis comic), but the stories aren't horrible. I'm look forward to the Fourth Doctor just to (hopefully) get back off of Earth. I am also really looking forward to The Three Doctors. Seeing the first two again without missing episodes and in color has a lot of promise
I do like that the third Doctor seems to be the most well developed so far. However, that may be due to not having seen so many episodes of the 1st and 2nd.

Also, Jo Grant has been a cute/enjoyable companion.

The Sea Devils is pretty good though, since they got the navy's permission to use their stuff.
I dislike Jo. Just wait until season 5 when Sarah Jane Smith arrives.

Yeah, they're starting to improve. I guess they realized they needed to mix it up some. Sea Devils was cool. Now I'm in the middle of the mutants. With luck, I might finish season 9 today. That'll be it until Monday though. I'll be out of town for Mel's graduation.

Re: Doctor Who
Okay, Jo is starting to wear on me. I'm most of the way through the Green Death, so she's almost gone. She just sits around being ditzy most of the time unless it interesting for her to show scientific knowledge. When she's not doing that, she's just being clumsy. She feels like she's been around way too long.

Re: Doctor Who
The one good thing about Jo is that her tenure has some really strong episodes that have political and social commentary tied to them, such as The Mutants, The Green Death, the Peladon stories, the war between the Draconions and the Humans whose name I can;t recall, and so forth.
